I'll dominate 'credible fighter' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.

Briton Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize next month's boxing match.

Ex two-time world title holder Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on 19 December.

Boxer's Attitude

"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Civil Exchange

Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally known for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial paydays.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.

"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.

Size Difference

As both boxers engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is actually happening.
